| Dr
Apostol Pappas is a
registered gastoenterologist who specialises in treating diseases of the
oesophagus, stomach and intestines, gall bladder and pancreas as well as
liver diseases.
He sees patients with heartburn, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal pain, jaundice and other gastro-intestinal related diseases. He has a special interest in patients presenting with ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease. He performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. Dr. Pappas qualified from the University of Pretoria in 1975, and after a senior internship, went into general practice for seven years. He did post graduate work at the University of the Witwatersrand and registered as a gastroenterologist in 1995.
